Privacy Policy
TipSplit is built so that your team's pay data stays with you. This policy explains what we do and don't collect.
Data that stays on your device
Names, roles, hours, tips and pay periods you enter in TipSplit are processed in your browser and stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them, so download a backup if you need one.
Data we receive when you subscribe
Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details; we never see your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, billing address, any tax ID you provide, and your subscription details. We use these to provide Pro, send receipts and service emails, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
Technical data
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to operate and secure the site. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads. We don't use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you. If you're a customer, we may email you about your subscription and important product changes.
Retention
We keep subscription and billing records as long as needed for accounting and legal obligations, and otherwise delete personal information on request.
Your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing nobleventurelabs+tipsplit@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them.
